Application Support Engineer
Our development team is looking for an Application Support Engineer to collaborate with fellow Engineers to help create seamless, high-performing solutions for our internal users. This is an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where creativity and technical expertise come together to drive innovation and efficiency.
Responsibilities include:
- Triage and remediate technical issues relating to the Checkwriters software.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders across the organization to effectively address internal needs.
- Troubleshoot a range of technical issues with the Checkwriters web applications.
- Utilize and expand upon system documentation in response to issues and their resolutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and Development team members to improve product offerings and address shortcomings.
- Be part of a culture where individuals strive for continual improvement in our products.
- Contribute to building the best possible payroll and HR experience for our customers.
What we're looking for:
- Degree or certificate in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or related field.
- Web application development/support experience. Understanding of HTTP and troubleshooting tools.
- SQL database experience. Microsoft SQL Server preferred; other database experience welcome.
- Familiarity with cloud services and management tools, preferably Azure.
- Familiarity with the Git version control system.
- The ability to work in a team environment and a strong sense of initiative.
- Effective time management and prioritization skills.
